Schooldrivers will be appearing live on Sunday October 2, at the semfinals of GhostHouse Battle of the Bands taking place at Ghosthouse Club (Lepeniotou 26, Psiri) facing worthy opponents such as Only Sundays, Aneu Poron, Stigmes & Funk Off.
We will be presenting Roll The Dice - our new single - for the 1st time in public, as well as another 3 songs from our upcoming album. Looking forward for your comments and participation.

Our old partner and friend Alexandra Gregoriadou has just released her 1st videoclip as part of her new group BLONKA. It's always a pleasure seeing an old Schooldriver progress so much! The video was produced by Double Cabin Films Ltd, directed and edited by Alex Karmios and the single was released by EMI / MUSICOM. It's a wonderful tune and a really nice pop summer song - watch and listen for yourself:

Η παλιά μας φίλη και συνεργάτης Αλεξάνδρα Γρηγοριάδου μόλις κυκλόφορησε το 1ο της βιντεοκλιπ ως μέρος του συγκροτήματος BLONKA. Είναι πάντα ωραίο να βλέπεις ένα παλιο Schooldrivers να προχωράει τόσο πολύ! Το βίντεο είναι παραγωγή της Double Cabin Films Ltd. σε σκηνοθεσία/μοντάζ Alex Karmios και το single κυκλοφορεί από την EMI/MUSICOM. Ένα πολύ ωραίο καλοκαιρινό τραγούδι που αξίζει να δείτε και να ακούσετε:
We want you to know that we are working on our new single called "Roll The Dice" which shall precede our forthcoming album. Recording sessions are bound to start in the next few days and we are very excited about it. We think this track gives a good summary of what to expect overly from our new album. Θα θέλαμε να γνωρίζετε ότι αυτή την περίοδο η μπάντα δουλεύει το νέο της single με τίτλο "Roll The Dice", το οποίο θα προηγηθεί του νέου άλμπουμ που ετοιμάζουμε. Οι ηχογραφήσεις αναμένεται να ξεκινήσουν στις επόμενες ημέρες και είμαστε πολύ χαρούμενοι για αυτό. Πιστεύουμε πως το κομμάτι είναι μια καλή "περίληψη" του τι μπορείτε να περιμένετε από το νέο άλμπουμ. Τέλος, το νέο single θα βασίζεται σε ένα εντελώς πρωτόγνωρο και βαρύτερο ήχο που θα σας κάνει να ξανασκεφτείτε από την αρχή τι είναι οι Schooldrivers...
After the new *barbaric* measures announced yesterday by the Greek finance minister E. Benizelos we would like to share our opinion with you on what's happening in Greece right now. We believe that (Hell)as has come to a point of no-return and that is not because we didn't do what we were supposed to. We have done everything we could and we have "paid" with more than we can support in terms of taxes and unemployment (actual rates of unemployment in Greece is over 35% right now).
We are not Europe's black sheep - we have done exactly the same thing YOUR govenrments did to prosper: we trusted our future to the bank and now we have to pay for it.
Do not misunderstand us: we are the same people that provided culture to the world and ultimately saved Europe from becoming a Nazi's protectorate by retarding Hitler's invasion in Crete back in 1941.
Do not be misguided: Greeks are not fighting to save themselves from bankruptcy. We are fighting on a modern war against World Order that want's to enslave all humanity using economic chains.
As in World War 2 with the Nazis, we knew we would fall in the end, we knew that we couldn't defeat an enemy like motorized Germany - but this didn't stop us from fighting. The same thing is happening now in Greece: we know that we will lose this fight, we know that our little - yet proud - country will end up bankrupt but every day we are still standing is another day of hope for all humanity to avoid a modernized kind of slavery.
We are asking from all enlightened people around the world to make your own stand against this new "enemy" of humanity. If you feel any kind of sympathy for Greece please go on and talk to your governments to take measures against the private monetary funds aiming to destroy worldwide democracy - don't let Greeks fight alone. Don't stop believing.
We would like to thank our fans for joining our 1st appearance at Stage Battle of The Bands yesterday. Really loved the experience playing for such a wonderful crowd and we are also very pleased for the feedback we got on our brand new and unreleased songs.

Thanks for keeping up with us all this time through so many twists and turns that the band had to undertake. From Kay's band project into a true band working in unity is a very long story full of adventure - both happy and sad moments.With this short note we want you to know that we feel it's time for the band to change into a more mature and heavier sound that we don't know if it will lead to recognition but we surely feel happy about it.

Από το solo project του Kay μέχρι μια πραγματική μπάντα που δουλεύει σαν οικογένεια είναι μια πολύ μεγάλη ιστορία γεμάτη περιπέτεια - καλές και κακές στιγμές. Με το παρόν, θέλουμε να γνωρίζετε ότι αισθανόμαστε ότι ήρθε η ώρα η μπάντα να αλλάξει το ύφος και τον ήχο της σε ένα ωριμότερο, βαρύτερο ήχο που δεν ξέρουμε αν θα οδηγήσει στην αναγνώριση - αλλά σίγουρα εμείς νιώθουμε πολύ όμορφα με το αποτέλεσμα...
